Inside Al Roker and Deborah Roberts’ Upper East Side brownstone

Al Roker dreamed of owning a brownstone his entire life.

“I saw them on ‘The Cosby Show’ and across from my high school,” the New York native told Closer Weekly. “I always thought that was real ‘New York living’ and a nice thing to have in the city.”

The 62-year-old now lives in one of his own with his wife, TV journalist Deborah Roberts, on the Upper East Side. It boasts five floors, four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

“He used to talk about them when we were dating,” Roberts, 56, added. However, Roberts admits her taste was a little different at the time. “I’m more of an apartment-with-a-doorman girl,” she said before Roker added, “On Park Avenue.”

Today, the couple shares the sprawling home with their daughter, Leila, 18, and son, Nick, 14, and their family dog, Pepper.
