Yolanda Hadid undergoes surgery to combat Lyme disease

Yolanda Hadid is still fighting Lyme disease.

On Tuesday, the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared a post-surgery photo on Instagram as she recovered with two friends at her bedside.

“I am seeking, I am striving and I am in it to win it with all of my heart………… #LymeDiseaseAwareness #TvamSurgery #LastChapter #SearchingForACure #RemissionInSight,” she wrote.

Hadid, 52, who has long battled Lyme disease, revealed she underwent the TVAM (Transvascular Autonomic Modulation) procedure, in which a catheter is inserted into one’s jugular vein through a small incision. Nerve fibers are then stimulated as a result of the expanded vein. The treatment is supposed to relieve patients of Lyme symptoms, including fatigue and brain fog.

This comes days after Hadid consulted with Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, the founder of the Sophia Health Institute and a specialist of chronic illness.

“Homebound with a grateful heart, Thank you Dr. Klinghardt for bringing me to and shining light on the finishing line of my health journey……………… #RemissionInSight #Gratitude #Clarity #LymeDisease #Seattle #sophiahealthinstitute,” she shared on social media.

Despite her ongoing struggle, Hadid continues to move forward. After filing for divorce from husband David Foster in January, the Dutch-born beauty announced her plans to release a memoir next February.

And while Hadid isn’t returning to the “Real Housewives,” she recently stepped in front of the camera to give her modeling career another go.

“Little rusted but slowly getting back in action with @jimjordanphotography thank you@mrchrismcmillan for my new Goldie locks…….. #Grateful #Blessed #GoodDay,” Hadid posted of the lingerie-clad shot.
