In the war of “Fast and Furious” stars, Tyrese Gibson is on Team Vin Diesel.
Diesel has been under fire after his “Fast and Furious 8” co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson targeted him for a lack of professionalism in a vague Instagram video on Monday. Diesel fired back with a cryptic clip of his own on Wednesday night.
“If no one else will jump out there and stand up I will—You’re my brother for life,” Gibson wrote on Instagram Thursday night of Diesel. “Let’s keep it positive and keep rockin’ this thing…#FastFamily.”
Sources told Page Six earlier this week, “Vin has a reputation for being difficult — he shows up late, keeps people waiting, holds up production and is disrespectful to people on the set. Dwayne lost his patience with him.”
Ludacris also showed subtle support for Diesel with a “throwback Thursday” post of himself, Gibson, Diesel and other castmates, but with Johnson noticeably missing.
While the rest of the cast has mostly remained mum, the crew is siding with consummate professional Johnson, TMZ reported.
