Josh Duggar leaves rehab after six months

Josh Duggar is out of faith-based rehab.

The disgraced “19 Kids and Counting” star checked himself into the Reformers Unanimous home last August after admitting to cheating on his wife and having a porn addiction.

“We are so thankful for everyone who worked with Josh in this program,” the Duggar family said in a statement on their website Thursday. “It was a crucial step in recovery and healing for Josh [who has] now returned to Arkansas, where he will continue professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family.”

Duggar, 28, had been clocking 40 hours a week of labor in addition to daily prayer sessions at the all-male facility located in Rockford, Ill.

“Our clients deal with sin, from spending too much money to drug addition to pornography or gambling – [we] deal with every sort of sin and struggle,” explained Tony Richardson, the organization’s director of development as well as a successful former client.

The cost of the program was $7,500 and involved an intensive Bible-based structure to help bring the father of four “back into living a victorious life.”

“We look to God for help and guidance and place all of our trust in Him,” the reality TV family continued in their statement. “We are forever grateful for the love and prayers offered by so many and hope you will continue to pray in the days ahead.”

Duggar’s wife, Anna, has stayed supportive of her husband despite his admission to infidelity in light of the Ashley Madison hack last year and the bombshell news that he molested five underage girls when he was a teenager.
