Bill Murray does the Carlyle conga

Bill Murray partied Wednesday night at The Carlyle — where else? — after a premiere of his “Very Murray Christmas” Netflix special, which was shot at the hotel.

“The highlight was Bill on the Café Carlyle stage singing ‘Louie Louie’ with Buster Poindexter [a k a David Johansen], Paul Shaffer and Jenny Lewis,” said a spy, “then leading a conga line around the hotel singing ‘Hot Hot Hot.’ ”

Guests included Sofia Coppola and dad Francis Ford Coppola, Chris Rock, Mitch Glazer, Kelly Lynch and Jason Schwartzman.

Of all the stars who sing in the special, Murray told us: “Miley Cyrus really just blew everyone away. I had no idea she was that good.” Asked to dish on any behind-the-scenes mischief, he cracked, “Nothing I can really tell you without warrants being served.”
