LL Cool J’s son was arrested Tuesday morning after getting into a drunken brawl at a Meatpacking District nightclub, police sources said.
Najee Smith, 26, was inside Catch Roof on Ninth Avenue and 13th Street at 3:15 a.m. when he got into a fight with a group of six to seven men, according to the sources.
Security tried to break it up, but Smith — who was celebrating his birthday — became combative, fighting as the guards escorted him outside, the sources said.
He was taken to the Sixth Precinct station house, where cops didn’t realize he was rap royalty until one said, “Wow, you look like LL Cool J.”
“Oh, so you know who I am,” he allegedly replied.
Smith behaved like a “gentleman,” but was still drunk, so he had to go through the system, the sources said. He was charged with criminal trespassing and released without bail.
