Allison Williams’ decoy wedding site

Allison Williams’ wedding to Ricky Van Veen was shrouded in such secrecy that a decoy site was set up near the real location at a luxury ranch in Wyoming.

We’re told the bogus location was set up to lure the paparazzi away from the real location, the Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, ahead of last Saturday’s big event. All of the guests had been kept totally in the dark about the wedding location and were asked simply to fly to Denver.

Page Six has learned that Rafanelli Events, which planned weddings for Chelsea Clinton and Matt Damon, was hired for the nuptials and to set up the decoy location.

The “Girls” star and CollegeHumor co-founder Van Veen were married by Tom Hanks after Allison was walked up the aisle by her father, news anchor Brian Williams.

VIP guests, we’re told, included NBC News chairman Andy Lack — the man who ultimately decided Brian’s fate at NBC and recast him as an MSNBC breaking news anchor — as well as NBCUniversal vice chairman Ron Meyer, ex-Facebook president Sean Parker, Mindy Kaling and her on/off boyfriend B.J. Novak, Vogue accessories editor Selby Drummond, David Lauren and Lauren Bush Lauren, and CAA boss Bryan Lourd, whose agency represents Allison. Also there were Lena Dunham, Katy Perry and John Mayer, and Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller.
