The ex-teen prostitute at the center of the “sex slave” allegations against disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein and his British-royal pal Prince Andrew has filed a defamation lawsuit against the British socialite she says recruited her for the sex parties.
Virginia Roberts, now 31, has claimed she was just 15 years old when Ghislaine Maxwell introduced her to Epstein for sex in 1999.
Maxwell has disputed the accusations, sparking the new suit.
”In January 2015, Maxwell undertook a concerted and malicious campaign to discredit [Roberts] and to so damage her reputation that [Roberts]’ factual reporting of what had happened to her would not be credited,” Roberts’ Manhattan federal court lawsuit states.
The suit says that statements made by Maxwell’s representatives – that Roberts’ allegations against Maxwell are “entirely untrue” and “obvious lies” – were meant to “maliciously discredit” Roberts.
“Maxwell made her statements to discredit [Roberts] in close consultation with Epstein,” the suit states.
Roberts now lives in Colorado and goes by last name of her hubby, Giuffre.
Maxwell is daughter of the late British media mogul Robert Maxwell, who went overboard from his yacht in 1991 amid a massive financial scandal.
Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting an underage prostitute and served 13 months of an 18-month jail sentence.
He’s now the target of an ongoing federal lawsuit in Florida.
Roberts has said Maxwell recruited her in 1999 to join Epstein’s harem and that Epstein pimped her out to Prince Andrew — the second son of Queen Elizabeth — and famed lawyer Alan Dershowitz.
But a Florida federal judge ruled in April that their names be stricken from salacious court papers filled by Roberts and another woman who were trying to join the lawsuit against Epstein.
Roberts also said in taped conversations that were part of court documents that former President Bill Clinton took a trip to Epstein’s “orgy island” in the US Virgin Islands in 2002, where group sex was a “regular occurrence.”
Roberts said she never had sex with Clinton — but that she did bed “powerful men, including politicians and business executives.”
