The wedding of Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo brought some youthful revelry back to Monaco’s 235-room pink palace, reminiscent of when Pierre’s mother, Princess Caroline, and her sister Princess Stéphanie were young.
Spies at a celebration a week before Saturday’s over-the-top nuptials say at a luncheon hosted by Prince Albert, “Guests started pushing people into the pool, including the groom. It was like the good humor of the old days.”
Caroline was married three times, all in Monaco, and Stéphanie famously dated French racer Paul Belmondo, Alain Delon’s son Anthony Delon, and Rob Lowe.
