Russell Wilson is yet to attend Ciara‘s “Body Party” and she’s fine with it.
The Seattle Seahawks quarterback, 26, recently revealed the couple is practicing abstinence and the 29-year-old singer is echoing the sentiment.
“It’s until the deal is sealed. Absolutely!” she recently told “Access Hollywood.”
Though it’s not always easy, the ex-fiancée to rapper Future and mother of one added she’s “really enjoying” her relationship with Wilson.
“I think both of us look at each other and we’re like – whew! But we take it one day at a time and keep it going with each other, and I’m really enjoying every day that we’re sharing,” she said.
As for how she felt when Wilson told a room full of people about their sex life — or lack thereof — Ciara was unfazed.
“It was an organic thing for him and I think he was just being honest about where we are,” she said.
Earlier this month, Wilson got candid about the couple during a Q&A with San Diego pastor Miles McPherson.
“She was on tour and I was sitting in the dressing room looking at her and God spoke to me. [He said], ‘I need you to lead her,’” Wilson revealed at the time. “I told her, ‘What would you do if we took all that ‘extra stuff’ off the table and just did it Jesus’ way?’”
He added, “If you can really love somebody without that, then you can really love somebody.”
