The 18-year-old daughter of “Queen of Versailles” stars Jackie and David Siegel was the victim of cyberbullying, which might have pushed her over the edge, loved ones said.
The ex-girlfriend of Victoria Siegel’s boyfriend had been sending “hateful text messages” to the teen before she died mysteriously at the family home in Florida over the weekend, TMZ reported.
One particularly cruel text came the morning of her death.
“While we cannot be sure, [the messages] may have affected her emotional state at a time when she was emotionally vulnerable,” a source close to the family said.
The family believes Victoria died of an accidental overdose and did not intend to kill herself, according to TMZ.
The ex-girlfriend is not being investigated in connection with the teen’s death, Orange County sheriff’s deputies said.
