Kanye West gets power crowd dancing at Time 100 gala

“I just couldn’t resist it,” comic Amy Schumer told Page Six after she fell flat on her face for laughs in front of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian on the Time 100 gala red carpet.

After the comic calamity, West gave a rousing performance inside Jazz at Lincoln Center for guests including George Lucas, Elon Musk, former Israeli PM Ehud Barak, US Attorney Preet Bharara, Diane von Furstenberg, Barry Diller, Barbara Walters, Martha Stewart, Naomi Campbell, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.

In his song “New Slaves”, an uninhibited West rapped to the high-end crowd, “F–k you and your Hamptons house,” and “I’d rather be a d–k than a swallower.”

But the influential attendees, some of whom have Hamptons homes, responded by dancing to the high energy show, and West brought down the house by climbing to a top balcony to perform another hit, “Gold Digger.”

He spotted “Empire” co-creator Lee Daniels — who had earlier given a moving toast to his mom — and jokingly warned him: “Don’t steal this for your show.”

The performance was only topped by an emotional speech from Nigerian activist and Bring Back Our Girls champion Obiageli Ezekwesili, “If he could get Osama bin Laden, he could get our girls,” Ezekwesili said of President Obama’s inadequate effort to help find the girls abducted by Islamist group Boko Haram.

“There’s absolutely nothing that the God I believe in cannot do,” she said. “But the same God has given man and woman the power of choice. Whatever we choose to do, we can accomplish. Let’s choose to bring our girls back.”

After the gala, a group of attendees, including “Mad Men” creator Matt Weiner, Laverne Cox, Jenji Kohan, Jenna Lyons and Ebola researcher Dr. Pardis Sabeti went to Karaoke Duet 53 in Hell’s Kitchen and sang until the early hours with Mia and Ronan Farrow.
