It didn’t seem possible, but Jeremy Renner’s split with Sonni Pacheco has somehow gotten uglier.
In a batch of brand-new legal documents obtained by TMZ, the “Avengers” star, 44, accuses his estranged wife of threatening to release intimate videos of him if he didn’t help her get a green card.
The Canadian-born model, who is two decades Renner’s junior, is accused of repeatedly saying she only married the actor to gain a green card and financial stability.
According to the papers, Renner said Pacheco told the couple’s roommate she’d release the personal videos to TMZ if Renner wasn’t nice to her and didn’t help her get the immigration document.
The website claims never to have talked to Pacheco, and says the site would not have run the videos if obtained.
Renner and Pacheco, who split in December after just 10 months of marriage, are currently engaged in a nasty fight for custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Ava.
In addition to claiming she’d threatened to extort him, Renner trashed the model’s parenting, saying that last fall she left their child at home unattended for 15 minutes.
The claims are backed by the roommate, who filed a declaration saying Pacheco smokes and drinks. The unnamed person also said the model did cocaine shortly after giving birth to Ava.
Pacheco, meanwhile, has previously stated that Renner’s collection of guns posed a danger to their daughter.
