Leonardo DiCaprio throws Edward Norton pre-Globes bash

Leonardo DiCaprio, who won a Golden Globe a year ago for “The Wolf of Wall Street,” quietly arrived in LA over the weekend to throw an uber-exclusive dinner for Edward Norton, who’s nominated for “Birdman.”

DiCaprio’s on a break from shooting “Birdman” director Alejandro González Iñárritu’s “The Revenant,” which will be released by New Regency in time for next year’s awards.

Spotted at DiCaprio’s VIP gathering at the Sunset Tower Hotel on Saturday were Michael Keaton, Tobey Maguire, Amy Adams, Kristen Wiig, Mark Ruffalo and Salma Hayek.

With the long hair and burly beard he’s grown for his role as an 1820s frontiersman, DiCaprio was seen in a black T-shirt and black blazer with a gold medallion around his neck. Also at the bash were Elizabeth Banks, Rosanna Arquette, “Avengers: Age of Ultron” star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lukas Haas, Ty Burrell and “Birdman” and “Revenant” cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki.

Before the dinner, DiCaprio, who’s not attending the awards this year, was spotted incognito perusing a new show by artist Harmony Korine.

Leo’s ex-girlfriend, Toni Garrn, meanwhile, has been spotted in town partying with Cara Delevingne.

Across town, the Red Hot Chili Peppers were jamming in Beverly Hills for guests including Bill Clinton, Reese Witherspoon and Ben Stiller. “I spent so much money at this event last year I had to get a second job,” joked Chris Martin at Sean Penn’s annual Help Haiti Home Gala, which raised $6 million. “Now I play here every Saturday, and at In-and-Out [Burger], and I help stuff envelopes,” the Coldplay singer cracked before playing two tunes.

Rozzi Crane also crooned Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” in front of couples including Penn and Charlize Theron, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, and Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart. Martin’s been rumored to be back on with girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence, who was not spotted at the event. Neither was Petra Nemcova, Penn’s model ex, who’s now dating former Haiti Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe.
