It’s the “Nightmare Before Christmas.”
After 13 years together, Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter have split, People reports.
The parents to 11-year-old Billy and 7-year-old daughter Nell “separated amicably earlier this year and have continued to be friends and co-parent their children,” Carter’s rep told the magazine. “We would ask that you respect their privacy and that of their children during this time.”
After meeting on the set of “Planet of the Apes” in 2001, Burton, 56, and Carter, 48, collaborated on several films together, including “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” and “Alice in Wonderland.”
