Chris Burch, an early investor in Faena’s first hotel project in Buenos Aires, told the crowd, “I was the fortunate man … that gave a little bit of money to Alan in the beginning, to help create Faena in Argentina, and I was paid back a hundred times, with the most beautiful development that everybody said would fail … I want to thank Alan for bringing the Faena vision to Miami.”
Reported buyers of apartments in Faena Miami Beach’s high-end 18-story tower include Goldman’s Lloyd Blankfein and Apollo’s Leon Black.
