Amanda Bynes is claiming she’s engaged to her 19-year-old boyfriend.
Bynes made the declaration to In Touch Weekly a week after getting arrested for a DUI in Van Nuys, California, telling the magazine her beau’s name is Caleb and that he works at a bait shop in Costa Mesa, California.
“I am very needy for friendship and I hate men. I want to f— them, but I can now say I’m engaged — get away from me,” she told In Touch. “I want to be married and I want to be away from people.”
Bynes told the magazine she wants to move to New York with Caleb to settle down and start a family, saying: “I want boys, for sure. However many I can pop out. I don’t want a gorgeous girl around. Then I [would] feel way jealous. Ew.”
On Friday, five days after her arrest, the troubled actress arrived at JFK Airport from Los Angeles, wearing a large bandage on her face. She was photographed in New York City over the weekend riding a Citi Bike around Penn Station and spending time with friends.
TMZ reported that Bynes was under the influence of Adderall at the time of her arrest.
Following a public meltdown and a stint in rehab, the former child star appeared to have turned her life around in recent months. But according to TMZ, she got kicked out of California’s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in September. One classmate said Bynes showed up high on marijuana, exhibited bizarre behavior, skipped class and cheated on a test.
