Sugar Bear claims he didn’t have his paw in the honey pot.
The 42-year-old reality TV star, whose real name is Mike Thompson, said he didn’t cheat on Mama June, or frequent the online dating site plentyoffish.com, when cornered by a TMZ reporter over the weekend.
“Not me,” Thompson said when pressed about the allegations. “Definitely didn’t do that.”
The “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star first told the website he “wasn’t allowed to comment” on the accusations, but eventually relented, delivering trademark curt answers to the questions lobbed at him.
Despite the possibility that his marriage might be over, Thompson isn’t worried about how the situation will affect his relationship with his daughter, Alanna “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson.
“I’ll see her,” he said when asked about the 9-year-old.
On Friday, news broke that Thomspon and his wife, whose real name is June Shannon, had split up.
“We are taking things day by day but regardless of what happens the girls will always be our #1 priority,” Shannon told Page Six in a statement. “We want to thank ya’ll for your support.”
