Sugar Ray Leonard got the crowd going at Usher’s annual charity luncheon for his New Look Foundation on Thursday by offering boxing lessons to a lucky bidder.
The event’s emcee Ludacris explained that the winner of the lot could bring six guests.
“They’ll give you $1,000 [each] to go to Sugar Ray Leonard’s house, so you’ll get your money back,” the rapper joked.
Bidding reached $25,000, and Leonard also said the winner could take photos with him and his 1976 Olympic gold medal.
