One of Hollywood’s weirdest marriages is over, according to reports.
Teen bride Courtney Stodden has separated from her husband of three years, actor Doug Hutchison, reports Radar Online.
“She is done with him, and he’s totally heartbroken,” a source close to the couple told the gossip site.
Stodden, 19, was just 16, when the May-December romance was brought to the world’s rapt attention. She even needed her parents permission to wed the “Lost” actor in 2011.
The couple appeared together on VH1’s “Couples Therapy” last year, but since then, Stodden’s profile has shot past her husband’s. In August, she was a contestant on the UK version of “Big Brother.”
Though the split hasn’t been announced yet, the source felt it was just a matter of time.
“Everything with Courtney and Doug is so contrived, but he wasn’t with her at her Halloween party and she’s always doing things by herself lately. He just isn’t part of the scene anymore now. They’ll probably stage a photo op just to pretend they’re still together though,” the source said.
