New parents Giuliana and Bill Rancic have kept the identity of their surrogate private until now.
In an upcoming episode of “Giuliana & Bill,” they brought cameras into the Denver Hospital delivery room where baby Edward Duke was born on Aug. 30.
In the preview video, the couple introduce Delphine, their surrogate, whose identity until recently had been kept secret. They also discuss who gets to hold the baby first and who cuts the umbilical cord after delivery. (Giuliana insisted that she do both before letting Bill cut the cord.)
In April, Bill told Us Weekly their surrogate was a “really nice girl who comes from a good family,” and added “Knock on wood, but I think we hit the gestational carrier lottery!”
The episode is set to air Oct. 2 on the Style Network.
