This just-released picture of Michael Emerson as Benjamin Linus is creeping me out so hard! I think part of the problem is that his eyes are following me wherever I go, like one of those weird paintings in a haunted house. Or a cheerleader trophy.
But in my ongoing quest to attach meaning to potentially meaningless pictures, let’s dissect this “Lost” promo! Clearly Ben is standing over the Hatch door, which played its biggest role in season one — but most of its importance was Locke related.
There is also something about the composition of the image that is giving me a “just born” vibe. I’m not going to graphically break it down for you, we’re all old enough to know how babies are made.
