The city’s socials packed into Minetta Tavern the other night to help Alexis Bryan Morgan celebrate her new gig as Elle’s fashion director. The magazine’s creative director and “The City” star Joe Zee, editor-in-chief Robbie Myers, and Elle group head Carol Smith hosted the party, which drew designers Zac Posen and Erin Fetherston, Tory Burch, Patrick McMullan and Zani Gugelmann. Conspicuously absent was Morgan’s stepmom, Anna Wintour, who of course edits Elle rival Vogue.
