GLAMOROUS GALLERY GALA

The crowd that came to the opening party for the exhibition of Robert Graham’s drawings at the Earl McGrath Gallery on West 57th the other night was made up of creative people very different from today’s pretty-boy stars and their posses. Robert’s glamorous wife, Angelica Huston, was rubbing shoulders with Buck Henry, Joan Didion, Ahmet and Mica Ertegun, Danny Glover, Graydon Carter, Bobby Zarem, Lady Sharon Sondes and Geoffrey Thomas, Kenny J. Lane, Wendy Stark, Anna Devere Smith, Calvin Trillen, Mary McFadden and the glorious Penelope Tree, in town from London just for the night.
