Recovery Celebration – Sunday, September 15

Individuals who embrace recovery achieve improved mental and physical health and increased quality of life for themselves, neighbors, family members, and peers. It’s important that we offer support to individuals facing mental health and substance use issues. That’s why we’re hosting our 7th Annual Recovery Celebration.

PACE’s Recovery Celebration will take place on Sunday, September 15 at the Indiana State Museum and will feature a 2-mile walk along with a fun-filled day at the Indiana State Museum.

PACE provides a variety of mental health and recovery services free of charge to help previously incarcerated individuals and their families lead productive and responsible lives in their community. This includes substance use counseling, peer recovery coaching, mental health coaching, and more. We are also proud to house the only Recovery Resource Center dedicated to the justice population in the state and are recognized as the first recovery community organization in Indiana to predominantly serve Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC).

Individuals who experience a mental health or substance use disorder often feel isolated and alone. Yet, every year, millions of Americans experience these conditions. Support is essential to recovery, so it’s important that family members and the community have the tools to start conversations about prevention, treatment, and recovery. Too many people are still unaware that intervention works, and that mental health and substance use disorders can be treated, just like other health problems. Mental health and substance use disorders affect people of all ethnicities, genders, geographic regions, and socioeconomic levels, and they need to know that help is available. These individuals can get better, both physically and emotionally, with the support of a welcoming community.

Your support as an event sponsor is critical to our success and will make a huge difference. Together, we can help others realize the promise of recovery and give families the right support to help their loved ones.
