Felonies Don’t Define Futures

PACE has been a Center for Working Families site since 2016. The CWF model entails three pillars: employment, income supports, and financial coaching.

Our employment team helps clients develop the skills and resources necessary to achieve gainful employment. Clients generally first complete our Advancing Your Career (AYC) workshop, which includes building a professional resume and cover letter participation in mock interviews, learning how to search for employment, and learning to discuss their pasts with employers.

Clients then move on to Career Networking, where they are directly connected to our Second Chance employer partners and open job opportunities. We have over 100 preferred employers in our network to whom we refer clients, thanks to our partnership with the Indy Chamber.

Our team also partners closely with BY Construction and BY Roads through the Indiana Construction Roundtable Foundation, where clients can gain skills and certifications in these lucrative fields before moving on to Career Networking specifically for employers and careers in the industry.

We strongly recommend that once clients have secured employment they enroll in our financial coaching workshops and meet with a Financial Coach individually to begin planning for the future with their earnings.

PACE also works with Marian University and Indy Reads to connect students with opportunities to earn their High School Equivalency (HSE) diplomas.
