Happy Freaking Tuesday. Caro read One Italian Summer and listened to Taylor's Swift surprise song set in Gelsenkirchen and decided just because she's married it doesn't mean she can't fall in love again. It's the summer of "sexy dates" - which are basically "engates" (engaged-dates) for washed up married girlies like ourselves. The real tea comes from audience tips, who are proof that this theory works and Niki has enough ideas to write a book on cool things we should all start doing with our spouse. Listen for a little touch of delusional inspiration because there's no reason we all shouldn't be living in our own rom-coms, and the book should keep getting saucier with each chapter (even when the logistics of life are trying their DAMNDEST to get us).

Today's episode addresses everyone's favorite topic: MONEY. Caro and Niki decide to sign up for painting classes because wall art is too expensive (let's see if they'll actually follow through with it though). Then, they talk about what they'd be doing if they could work for fun and not for money (lol, goals). The rest of the episode is spent discussing an email from a MOH who's bride friend is asking her to pay a trillion dollars for her MOH duties, which leads to a larger discussion: why is being a bridesmaid so effing expensive, and how can we be good bridesmaids without spending our life savings? The girlies then answer audience questions which inevitably leads to the topic of baby timelines, shocker! xoxo

This week’s episode is a little shorter than usual, because summer is busy and time is of the essence for all! The girlies start off by addressing the elephants in the room: Niki’s fresh lip filler (only half a syringe) and Caro’s violent hangover. Then they chat about future baby nursery themes because it’s never too early to start visualizing those for your unborn children. They end the episode by giving advice on a listener email all about wedding planning with family drama: Do you have to invite your sister just because she’s your sister? The elephant in the room is that caro got obliterated online last week and the girlies aren’t feeling GREAT about it. Caro might have handled it with jokes but she unpacks the unpleasantness and emotional breakdown behind what really happened and Niki threatens to go to battle in her honor - because all facades down, it isn’t pleasant being up against millions of bullies behind screens, no matter how secure you might be in reality. Afterwards there’s a very important rendezvous regarding baby shower etiquette including how many drinks one should have, why you can’t procrastinate the baby shower gift much the girls’ surprise and whether the cooed shower is the new move. Today's episode is a fun catch up. If you really want to spice things up, let's play a little game: drink every time one of the girls says "involved". They start out by talking about which brands have a chic aesthetic, and which are made to cater to Crossfit men. Then, get discuss how it's important to set expectations early on with your partner about how involved (drink!) you want them to be in your life's events, and how unfortunately that's not always the case with some couples. Are there boundaries when it comes to bonding with the people you work with? The gals start out with a banger as caro recalls a surprise encounter with a naked gentleman in her building last week. But meat of this week's episode, however, is all about making (and keeping?) work friends - and how close is too close when it comes to your spouse and a work friend of the opposite sex? Work friends can be the reason we love our jobs, but how do we know if the relationship can survive beyond the office, or if we even want it to? On the flip side, sometimes there are girlies that aren’t for the girls - who might try to become your husband’s work wife… in a way that doesn’t feel like roses. How do we train da boys to spot a bad vibe from a mile away channeling that special sense that only the girlies have? And even then, what are the actual boundaries you can implement that don’t feel over the top or unrealistic? We say this a lot, but you won’t want to miss this one. It's officially summer in the city, and the girlies are sweaty but happy. The question on the top of all of our minds: are we actually wearing capri pants this summer? This week the girly pops get in to the nitty gritty of what’s "in" and how tf we’re supposed to style peplum and jelly sandals without looking like we're Phil of the Future straight from 2009. Niki is in love with track pants while Caro says butter yellow and flowy maxi skirts are here to stay. We promise this is as educational as it gets on Honey We’re Home, just a bunch of washed up married people trying to figure out how to stay relevant. Stay hot hunnies. 🍯

Honeys, we’re BAAAAACK, and we’re talking sh*t. It’s been a hot minute since Nicole and Caroline were in the studio together, so obviously there’s a lot of tea to spill. From Caro’s European escapades with Taylor Swift to Nicole’s trip back to her hometown country roots (she grew up in a corn field), there’s a full month of crazy happenings to revisit. The girls end with discussing their current baby fever state of the union and talk about how everyone around them is having kids.
