Students are required to complete the following 14.0 credits to fulfill requirements for the Political Studies program:

  • 0.5 POST 1001H - Politics and Power in the Golden Age: Introduction
  • 0.5 POST 2351H - The Political Imagination I
  • 0.5 POST 2352H - The Political Imagination II
  • 0.5 POST 3600H - Designing and Doing Qualitative Research in Political Studies
  • 1.0 Political Studies credits from the following:
    • 0.5 POST 2011H - Governing Canada: Issues and Challenges and 
    • 0.5 POST 2012H - Democratizing Canada: Contemporary Issues; or 
    • 1.0 POST 2230Y - World Politics
  • 1.5 Political Studies credits at the 3000 level in addition to the above
  • 3.0 Political Studies credits at the 4000 level
  • 1.0 Political Studies credit in addition to the above
  • 5.5 additional credits

*Additional notes: Courses without specified year levels must include at least 2.0 credits at the 3000 and/or 4000 level(s), and no more than 2.5 credits at the 1000 level.

Cancellation Policy

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
