Delicious!

Don’t believe the hype! John’s used to be amazing now it’s bland at best. Portnoy either likes tasteless pizzas or he needs to revisit because this doesn’t deserve anywhere near that score.

Angelo’s on 57th got a 9.3 and it was spot on, maybe even a little low. Dave gave JOB a 9.3, too high Davey! JOB can’t touch Angelo’s!

Crispy but pretty ordinary

Worth the hype. Very good pie. Cooked perfectly. Only thing that would made the score higher was more sauce.

Consistent and light. Sometimes too burnt.

I traveled from the Canadian Prairies to try this pizza! 9.5 is a ridiculous high score….but Johns did not disappoint. This was the best pizza experience I have had in my life! If I’m ever lucky enough to get back to NYC, I’ll be back at Johns!

John’s original is crispy light and the sauce is very good. Highly recommended. Happy we were able to stop by.

Good old school coal-oven pizza

Crust absolutely saves this pizza. Little bit of flop, cheese and sauce tastes like every forgettable slice I’ve had in Jersey growing up. Needless to stay, still a good slice, worth the wait to say you did it and the experience. But sadly, overhyped.

One bite. Giving iohns one more shot after trying it a few years ago. Underwhelmed then. Zero flop. Honestly, a way overhyped pizza. It’s very good, just not a 9 at all. Does get better as you keep eating. 8.3, very fair score

Really good pizza. It was nice and crispy, no flop, with well proportioned cheese and sauce. This pizza is a must.
