Delegation of IOC Executive Board powers to the CAS Anti-Doping Division, a Disciplinary Commission and the IOC administration for the Olympic Games Paris 2024

During its meeting today, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) accepted the recommendation of the IOC Legal Affairs Commission to delegate powers to the Court of Arbitration for Sport Anti-Doping Division (CAS ADD) with regard to violations of the IOC Anti-Doping Rules at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

The EB also delegated powers to a Disciplinary Commission and to the IOC administration with regard to violations of rules or regulations issued by the IOC, an International Federation (IF) or a National Olympic Committee (NOC) and any form of misbehaviour that occurs during the Olympic Games Paris 2024. The rules and regulations include, amongst others, the Olympic Charter, the IOC Code of Ethics and the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions.
