Manon Genest will carry the Olympic torch. This is her story:
Manon is an outstanding disabled athlete. She clinched gold in the 2016 Paratriathlon World Championships in 2016, followed by silver medals in the 200m and 400m events in the 2018 European Championships. In 2021, she added another silver to her trophy case in the European Long Jump Championships, before securing bronze in the 2023 Long Jump World Championships.
