Jean-Louis Benarab

Jean-Louis Benarab will carry the Olympic Torch. This is his story:

Jean-Louis has been devoting his time and energy to the young people of Chartres since 1998 as manager of the boxing club. His unwavering devotion has been remarkable, helping the club he has chaired since 2001 to grow from 25 members to over 300 today. In addition to his involvement in the boxing club, Jean-Louis is a committed citizen in his community.

He also chairs the Citizens' Council of Les Clos, the neighbourhood where he grew up, demonstrating his deep commitment to improving the well-being of the area and its residents. Being chosen to carry the Olympic Torch is well-deserved recognition of more than two decades of dedicated service to associations in the city of Chartres.
