Elena Thiry-Belpaume will carry the Olympic Torch. This is her story:

Elena, who is committed to creating a more caring and inclusive society, highlights her values through her life story. With a degree in psychomotricity, she works with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and upholds these values on a daily basis. Her role is to help each child to progress in different areas, from motor skills to learning everyday gestures.

At the same time, Elena has been involved in sport and voluntary work since a very young age, particularly in gymnastics and basketball, as a coach. Her training as a mental coach for sports performance has enriched her commitment. As an Olympic Torchbearer, Elena wants to be the voice of children with ASD and share her experience to bring joy and smiles. Through her various experiences, she aims to promote the values of the Olympics and put the spotlight on the world of disability.
