Clovène Preumont will carry the Olympic torch. This is her story:

Clovène embodies the spirit of altruism and empathy. Despite the usual age requirement of 12, she was authorised to join the young volunteer firefighters when she was still 11. Balancing her commitments, she continues her medical studies while actively serving as a volunteer firefighter. In addition to participating in rescue missions, she now trains young firefighters.

With a burning passion for various sports, including running, cross-country, and triathlon, she does not just play —she competes at both departmental and regional championships. She tackled the challenging GR20 trail solo at the tender age of 13 and now has her sights set on the GR34. Combined with her long-standing involvement in numerous associations and representative bodies (Middle School Life Council, Academic High School Life Council, National High School Life Council, etc.) Clovène, at only 19, already boasts an impressive sporting and community journey.
