Mark Richard Rouleau

As we mark the first anniversary of the passing of Mark Rouleau, we reflect on the incredible life he lived and the lasting impact he had on all who knew him. Mark, 49, passed away unexpectedly in his West Palm Beach, FL home on June 28, 2023. Born in Duluth, MN, Mark graduated from Denfeld High School in 1993. He went on to study at Connecting Point Information Technology Services, beginning his career as a network engineer at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino. His journey led him to Las Vegas, where he founded iTech Las Vegas in 2007. Mark's charisma and willingness to help his customers at any time made him a beloved figure in the community.

Mark's adventurous spirit was evident from a young age. His love for the water extended throughout his life, from his involvement with the Lake Mead boating community and yacht club to his more recent adventures within the South Florida fishing and boating community. In the spring of 2023, he exemplified his spontaneous nature by volunteering as a deckhand to deliver a yacht from the Florida Keys to New Jersey, embodying his lifelong dream of living on the water.

Mark's passions were as diverse as his experiences. He loved hot food—the spicier, the better—hiking, scuba diving, and exploring the Las Vegas dunes on his RZR SxS. For many years, he cherished Sunday hikes with his daughter, Bailie, creating memories that she will hold dear forever. His trusty companion, a cranky Jack Russell mix named Sonny, joined him on many of his adventures, including a memorable cross-country journey from Las Vegas to Minnesota to reunite a missing dog with its family.

Mark is survived by his beloved daughter, Bailie, whom he considered his greatest blessing; her mother, Windy; his parents, Pam and Bruce; his sister, Denise; brother-in-law, Peter; his iTech family; and numerous friends who regarded him as a brother. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy and Ernie, Bernice and Buck, and his Great Auntie Doris.

On this anniversary of Mark's passing, we honor and celebrate a man whose life was filled with passion, adventure, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. Mark's memory continues to inspire and bring joy to all who knew him. His spirit lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many people he touched throughout his remarkable life

Plant a tree: How does it work

When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.

An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.

After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.

Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
