Nancy Ellen Fiske
Business owner, loving wife, daughter, and sister, 85
Nancy Ellen Fiske, 69, of Whiting, NJ, departed this life on June 30, 2024. Nancy was born in Concord, Massachusetts and raised in Basking Ridge, NJ. She was an environmental educator, business owner and realtor.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband Lamont Blowe; her mother Lois Fiske (nee Jackson); siblings Linda Rapp (Gary), Jeffrey Fiske, PhD. and Wendy Christian (Dan); sisters-in-law Vanessa Blowe MD, Paulette Blowe PhD. and Melanie Speller; and many nieces, nephews & relatives.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10am at First Baptist Church, 1 Washington St. Bloomfield, NJ. Services can be viewed on YouTube by selecting First Baptist Church Bloomfield, NJ.

"Nancy was one of the people who first got me into birdwatching. As a 3rd grader, she introduced me to Plainsboro Preserve´s FeederWatch program and I´ve been obsessed with birds ever since. Her love for nature was infectious, and no matter how late or however many thousands of questions I asked, she would always encourage me to ask more; an always supportive and nurturing figure. 8 years later, I´m planning on pursuing a future in avian conservation, and her impact is felt and remembered by many others like me. - Ethan Xu"
