Up the texture - living room with earthy coloured couches
Texture is key to making any space feel inviting. For a cosy and comfortable feel, mix and match soft-touch, tactile fabrics and natural materials such as linens, velvets, corduroy and soft leathers in the same colour palette to create a cohesive look. Dulux colours: Pataua Beach, St Bathans, Mt Inaccessible

Green living room with wooden beam ceilings
To move away from all-white ceilings, consider running your chosen wall colour onto the ceiling to create a truly enveloping feeling. For this living room, we painted the main walls and ceiling in Pataua Beach paired with the slightly earthier Saint Bathans on the fireplace wall to make it a clear focal point. Dulux colours: St Bathans, Pataua Beach.

Highlight special features - black feature wall in neutral space
When planning your autumn design update, look for ways to highlight your home’s unique characteristics and embrace your natural surroundings. Adding a deep hue can be a fast and effective way to accentuate existing architectural features, like how we have opted for the rich, warm mid-tone Hammer Grey on the opening that leads to the home’s main entrance. Dulux Mt Inaccessible
Mt Inaccessible is a decadent, dark charcoal with a slightly brownish undertone that is ideal for the theatre room, master bedroom and formal rooms. This gorgeous colour is also great for brick and weatherboard walls or as a trim colour teamed with a lighter neutral such as Glinks Gully and Godley Head. Mt Inaccessible also works well with warm whites such as Sandfly Point Half and Cardrona.
