Mico Christchurch hosted a gathering of women at the Starry Night Evening held at The Black Box Theatre last week. The event was remarkable, as it helped raise essential funds for Rānui House and the Bone Marrow Cancer Trust. These funds support families who travel to Christchurch for critical medical treatment. During the event, attendees heard touching stories about the positive impact Rānui House has had on families facing challenging times. The evening also featured live auction, live music, and an impressive menu. We’re proud to have supported this event, making a difference in our community.

In the late seventies, Roger Englefield, recognising a niche in the market, set up a small operation in Glenfield/Auckland, producing baths for a company supplying to the Australasian market. During the eighties, Roger, together with his son Derek took the opportunity to manufacture as their own entity. Shower manufacture soon followed baths, and innovative products such as the complete shower enclosure, and a ‘Cabana’ shower with ceiling were developed. Roger and his son continued to expand the business, exporting predominantly to Australia and Asia, and winning many Plastic Institute and Design Awards along the way. Englefield quickly became a leading brand in Australasia, with the reputation of supplying top quality, affordable, and well-designed products that could be trusted to endure. KOHLER founded in 1873 is a recognised global leader in kitchen and bathroom ware, renowned for innovation, technology, and design. Their vision has been singular – to increase customers' quality of life and sense of gracious living, with the underlying commitment to craft and the willingness to be bold. KOHLER Co. purchased Englefield in 2000, adding sanitary products (toilets), to the Englefield range, and completing their overall bathroom solution. Celebrating Our Amazing Volunteers! Kudos to Lee for dedicating his time to the Breast Cancer Foundation last Friday in Tauranga. The NZ House & Garden Tours, New Zealand’s largest charity house tours, run in support of Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. The price of tickets sold to visit the houses is used to raise funds for the charity. Lee, one of our Territory Manager, actively participated in making this event a success.
