Our health and social sectors are under extreme pressure. Both from a financial and workforce perspective, we all need to do more with less. Governments, providers and staff alike need to know they are getting the best return possible - whether it is for taxpayers' dollars, or their blood, sweat and tears. At Noted we have created a person and whānau-centred platform that enables the health and social sectors to better manage the care of people and know their impact on a population’s wellbeing. In June, I had the honour of presenting our ideas at the Health Informatics New Zealand Leadership Summit. In this article, I summarise the presentation. I’m interested to hear your feedback! https://lnkd.in/g_XAXJYe
About us
Noted is an online client management system that allows health and social service providers to efficiently record their care of people and whānau. Offering a tailored approach to client record keeping, Noted allows social workers, mental health & addiction professionals and allied health practitioners to easily capture fine-grained data that can easily be accessed and reported on. Whether you have a small team, many teams, or operate as an interagency service provider, Noted allows all relevant client data to be recorded in one place. The system unites the efforts of multiple teams, enhancing shared care plans to create greater client and community outcomes. Our whānau-centred care features allow users to record the health and wellbeing of an entire whānau. By putting people and whānau at the centre of the system, Noted empowers users to easily record the important mahi they are doing with whānau that is reflective of the way they work with whaiora. Robust security and access controls within Noted ensure client data is kept safe and is only visible to the appropriate users. Structured form content offers users a chance to protect themselves by easily evidencing best practice. With quality client data recorded in a unified system, reporting and impact measurement is simplified. This empowers our users to easily gain insight about their organisation, service delivery, their client outcomes and any potential issue trends to better understand how to support healthy, thriving communities. Everything we do at Noted is to support the mahi of health and social care workers. We offer a high level of assistance to ensure workers are supported when using the system every day. Our highly valued onboarding services ensure that complex service providers have a system that not only reflects the unique way they work but also identifies efficiencies in workflow and smarter data collection practices to ensure reporting is seamless.

In June, I had the pleasure of leading table discussions at the Health Informatics New Zealand Leadership Summit on the topic of "Leading change in understanding wellbeing impact". Participants included stakeholders from Health New Zealand and NGOs. We talked about what wellbeing is, the value of understanding the wellbeing impact of services, how wellbeing impact can be measured and how this could be implemented. It was really good to get everyone's input! Feel free to add your own ideas on the topic below. https://lnkd.in/gTEMh4fr

12 months ago I was lucky to be a keynote speaker at the HINZ Leadership Summit and spoke about the challenges of community-based health and social care providers delivering on contracts to government. You can read a summary of my presentation on our website. https://lnkd.in/gY3vZNXD On Tuesday 14 May I will be speaking again. This presentation will be something of a sequel, looking at the wider health and social ecosystem, sharing ideas and technology Noted has developed over the last year to offer care providers and government alike end-to-end data capture and analytics, including the aggregation of useful information from across populations. Hopefully I'll see you there!
How can we enable community health and social care providers to deliver better care to our whānau?

Te Rūnanga O Toa Rangatira are one of the largest Māori health providers in Aotearoa and they are doing awesome mahi in their rohe, based in Porirua. We're exciting to be working with them to help enable their vision of 'any door is the right door' mauri ora health and social care delivery. Sage words Helmut Modlik
We learn so much when we collaborate, and indigenous peoples across the planet have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with us here in Aotearoa. Helmut Modlik (Ngāti Toa Rangatira, Ngāti Koata, Ngāti Tama, Ngāruahine) is the Chief Executive of Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira and on the Board of Te Aka Whai Ora. He recently visited indigenous Americans in Oklahoma to expand his knowledge around how we can nurture whānau so they feel connected, empowered, and can thrive. Here are some of his takeaways. #MaoriHealth #hauora #rongoa #ChangeLeadership

I am excited to share that Dr Pernille Christensen, Noted's data architect, will be giving a presentation at Digital Health Week NZ 2023. In the presentation, PC will discuss the limitations of the current funding model for the delivery of community-based care and share the work that she has been leading into the development of a standardised whānau-centred data model. We believe that the model has the potential to underpin a new way to approach funding the critically important mahi of our community-based health and social care providers, improving outcomes and introducing badly needed efficiencies. For those of you who will be at the event, PC will be speaking at 11:10am in Room 8. See you there!
