He is the St. John's beat writer who also writes a weekly column on college football and college basketball, and he covers the Knicks, Mets, Yankees, Jets and Giants as well. Zach grew up in Brooklyn and now resides in Astoria. He attended liberal arts college Drew University in Madison, N.J. Zach once threw a no-hitter in high school for Berkeley Carroll. He loves pets and believes that March is the best month of the year.
