NYC man dead after being stabbed multiple times in the groin, killer on the loose: cops

A man died after he was repeatedly stabbed in the groin inside a Brooklyn apartment building early Monday, cops said.

Maurice Freeman, 30, was found with multiple stab wounds to his private area inside the vestibule of a building on Shore Parkway near 20th Avenue in Bath Beach, authorities and sources said. 

Freeman, listed as a resident of Sunbury, Pennsylvania, was rushed from the six-story building that borders the Belt Parkway and Gravesend Bay – steps from Bensonhurst Park – to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was later pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made in connection to the early morning murder.

The motive for the slaying remains under investigation.
