When is NBA Draft 2024 and how to watch: Start time, channel, streaming

It’s been a little over a week since the Boston Celtics won the 2024 NBA Finals, and tonight, 58 young players will be drafted into the next generation at the 2024 NBA Draft.

For the first time since the draft went from a three-to-seven-round affair to a two-round one, the NBA Draft will be held over two nights — tonight, June 26, and tomorrow, June 27.

There are 58 picks in this year’s draft, rather than the typical 60 (technically two per team, though trades can complicate that); the Philadelphia 76ers and the Phoenix Suns violated the NBA’s tampering rules during free agency and were forced to forfeit their second-round picks.

Among the names being thrown around for the evening’s top picks are Alexandre Sarr (France), Zaccharie Risacher (France), or Donovan Clingan (UConn), but the name on everyone’s radar is Bronny James. The son of LeBron James is eligible for tonight’s draft and since 2022, the elder James said he “would do whatever it takes” to play with his son in the NBA, but recent reports suggest he’s “off” that idea now.
