Tal Alexander, third real estate dynasty brother to face rape allegations, steps away from his firm

The older brother of the real estate dynasty Alexander twins has stepped away from the brokerage firm he co-founded after he was accused in a civil lawsuit of raping a New York City woman more than a decade ago.

Lawyers for Tal Alexander, 37, said in a statement Tuesday that the financier would “take a leave from the company to focus fully on clearing his name” because of the “salacious nature of this false allegation.

“He won’t allow these claims to be a further distraction to the company or its clients,” lawyers Milton Williams and Deanna Paul said.

They added that Tal “looks forward to rejoining the Official team in short order.”

One of Tal’s younger siblings, Oren, was already pushed out of Official, the brokerage business he co-founded, after a pair of explosive lawsuits claimed he and twin Alon, who runs a private security firm, raped two women several years back.

Since the sickening allegations surfaced against the twins, almost 30 other women have come forward to make similar stomach-churning claims involving them, according to the lawyer representing the two plaintiffs, Kate Whiteman and Rebecca Mandel.

“Once the first lawsuits came out, the floodgates opened,” a source at Official told The Post on Tuesday. “People in the industry have kind of known about this for a long time — it’s been this well-known secret. Don’t be surprised to learn this is just the tip of the iceberg.”

Tal had originally dodged accusations.

But last week, a similarly volcanic lawsuit brought by a woman named Angelica Parker claimed that Tal and the twins conspired to rape her in a “coordinated sexual assault” inside the brothers’ shared apartment in SoHo shortly after she met them in the fall of 2012.

Parker said Tal tried to sexually assault her again several years later, according to the Manhattan Supreme Court complaint.

But Parker let out a loud scream, which stopped her would-be attacker in his tracks, the suit said.

Her lawyer, Michael Willemin, said in a statement that the litigation was “intended to send a message that the law applies even to the very wealthy and well-connected, including the Alexanders.”

A spokesman for Tal previously decried the lawsuit as a money-grab — and denied the allegations.

“It is unfortunate but fully expected that shakedown artists are going to line up given the allegations against Tal’s brothers,” the spokesman said in a statement.

“Tal has done absolutely nothing wrong, and anyone hoping to peddle outrageous lies in hopes of a quick payday are going to find themselves disappointed,” the statement said.

Both Tal and Oren worked for years at Douglas Elliman, a high-end firm that moves jaw-droppingly expensive homes.

The properties handled by the brothers included the priciest ever bought in the United States: a 24,000-square-foot-apartment picked up in 2019 by billionaire hedge funder Ken Griffin, who paid a cool $238 million for the spot.

The three siblings are part of a real estate dynasty started by their father, Shlomy Alexander.
