Rachel Morin’s mom rips Biden’s ‘devastating’ border policies after her alleged murder by illegal migrant

The grief-stricken mom of Rachel Morin, the Maryland woman allegedly raped and murdered by an illegal migrant, has eviscerated President Biden for allowing his “devastating” US border policies to play out while he sits in an “ivory tower.”

Patty Morin ripped the 81-year-old president’s handling of the ongoing border crisis as she revealed in a Fox News interview Tuesday what it was like coming face to face with her daughter’s accused killer, Victor Martinez Hernandez, for the first time last week.

“It’s like they’re pretending these immigration problems don’t exist and people aren’t being harmed and killed by their policies,” Morin said of the Biden administration’s policies.

Rachel Morin, a 37-year-old mother of five, was allegedly raped and murdered by an illegal migrant in Maryland last August. MEGA

“The victims are those that are being killed but also their loved ones that they’ve left behind. It’s devastating to the community.”

Morin’s daughter Rachel, a 37-year-old mother of five, was allegedly slaughtered by Hernandez on a hiking trail in Harford County, Md., last August.

The alleged killer, a 23-year-old El Salvadoran national and suspected gangbanger, was only nabbed earlier this month in Tulsa, Okla., after cops matched his DNA to the gruesome crime scene.

An emotional Morin watched in a Maryland courtroom as Hernandez, who authorities say entered the US illegally in February 2023, made an initial virtual appearance last Friday.

“The emotions were so overwhelming,” the mom said of laying eyes on Hernandez. “I couldn’t bear the pain [of seeing him].”

Her daughter’s grim case is among a slew of recent slayings across the US that have allegedly been inflicted by illegal immigrants — including the murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray in Texas earlier this month.

Two illegal Venezuelan migrants, Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, and Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, were arrested over the girl’s murder.

Rangel Martinez was slated to face a Houston court on Tuesday after his alleged accomplice, Pena Ramos, was held on a $10 million bond a day earlier.

“President Biden hasn’t really showed any concern for anything the American people have voiced on this issue,” Morin said of the ongoing border crisis in the wake of the deaths.

“It’s like he’s sitting in an ivory tower, and we’re just down here. He’s not connected with the everyday person.”

“I’m not against immigration, but you don’t just open the front door to your house and invite any stranger in off the street. You vet them at the door. ‘Who are you? Why are you here?’ You learn about them and decide if they’re safe before letting them into your home,” she continued.

“Our country shouldn’t behave differently.”

Authorities say Hernandez fled to the US in February 2023 — a month after he allegedly murdered a young woman in his native El Salvador.

Once in the US, he allegedly attacked a 9-year-old girl and her mom during a brutal home invasion in Los Angeles in March.

He is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape in Rachel’s death.
