The wedding week of Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey is here.
On Monday, Culpo posted photos of the couple jetting off to their wedding hat’s taking place this weekend in Rhode Island.
“Let it begin,” she captioned the series of Instagram photos along with a bride emoji.
Miss Universe 2012 and the 49ers star running back started their trip on the airport runway, where they were greeted by a private jet and decorative letters to spell out “Mr. & Mrs.” along with balloons to celebrate the occasion.
Culpo, a Cranston, Rhode Island native, revealed some details inside the jet, posting photos of the aisle decorated with flower petals and a bouquet of flowers.
There was also a digital slideshow showcasing pictures of the couple.
Culpo also shared a sneak peek at their in-flight dining menu that featured dishes such as a breakfast flatbread, a summer strawberry crunch salad, an ahi sushi bowl and a dessert of chocolate-covered strawberries paired with espresso martinis.
Culpo, 32, and McCaffrey, 28, were also joined by their toy golden doodle, Oliver.
Almost a month ago, Culpo had her bridal shower in Malibu, California, where her friends and family celebrated, while McCaffrey showed up during a “special appearance.”
The three-time Pro Bowler proposed to Culpo in April 2023 — four years after the couple was first linked to one another.
The two have had an eventful year-plus, starting with the oval-cut engagement ring from Ring Concierge and continuing into a very exciting 2023 season for the 49ers.
McCaffrey and San Francisco went 12-5 during the regular season but fell just short in the Super Bowl against the Chiefs, who won their second straight championship in February in Las Vegas.
Prior to the big game, McCaffrey praised Culpo for sticking by his side throughout the busy year, all while in the middle of wedding planning.
“She’s done a hell of a job,” McCaffrey said to “Extra.”
“She’s definitely steering the ship when it comes to anything regarding the wedding as of now, but I give my input when needed, but obviously her style is unbelievable and everything she wants I also like, so it’s going really well. I’m so thankful I have someone like her who’s not just supporting me the way she is, but also handling all stuff like that, allowing me to do what I love in the moment while she’s still working on her career as well.”
McCaffrey, the 2023 NFL Offensive Player of the Year, will be entering his eighth season in the league and his third with the 49ers.
Last season, he racked up 1,459 rushing yards with 14 touchdowns on the ground along with 564 receiving yards with seven scores through the air.
