Vanna White might quit ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ ‘doesn’t jibe’ with Ryan Seacrest: report

Vanna White is considering leaving “Wheel of Fortune” following Pat Sajak’s exit, according to a new report.

A source recently told the Daily Mail that White — who has been the game show’s letter-turner since 1982 — is having a hard time without Sajak, who retired as host after 41 seasons earlier this month.

White’s contract is up in 2026, but the insider claimed that “there is a part of her that wants to walk away sooner.”

“It is just so difficult to do this without Pat,” the source said.

They also claimed that White, 67, isn’t seeing eye-to-eye with new host Ryan Seacrest.

‘She just doesn’t jibe with Ryan like she did with Pat, and no one really ever expected her to,” the insider said. “There is just no way that she possibly could.”

A source close to Seacrest told The Post, “There is absolutely no truth to this story.  Ryan and Vanna have started working together and have been having a lovely time on set. “

Seacrest, 49, will officially replace Sajak, 77, when “Wheel of Fortune” returns for Season 42 in September.

White, meanwhile, extended her contract to stay on the show until the 2025-2026 season after a salary dispute. According to TMZ, White got a “substantial pay increase” with her deal.

“Vanna feels that she has put her time in,” the Daily Mail source said. “She devoted her entire life to this show and she had an incredible run while making a fortune.”

They continued: “She knows that the show needs to go in a different direction and appeal to a younger demographic. She wants the show to continue. This will require a younger female host, someone who can be to Ryan what she was to Pat.”

The Post has reached out to reps for White and Seacrest for comment.

White was by Sajak’s side when he filmed his final episode on “Wheel of Fortune” that aired on June 7.

He was emotional when he said goodbye to the show’s audience, the crew, and White herself, who he called his “professional other half.”

“We’ve seen a lot of changes in each other’s lives over the years but we’ve always been there for each other,” Sajak said. “While I will very much miss working with her, I take solace in the fact that we live about five miles apart. So we’ll see plenty of each other. She’s a very special woman and I know you’re all pleased she’ll be back next season.”

Seacrest’s addition to the show was announced last year.

He said on “Today” in September that he was thrilled White extended her contract to stay with the syndicated game show.

“This is such great news,” the “American Idol” host said. “Vanna has been such a staple on that show and in our living rooms for so many years. I’ve been very excited to work with her but now that it’s official I can say, ‘Congratulations, Vanna.’ I can’t wait.”

Before Sajak’s final episode, White admitted that she was hesitant to stay on the show without her longtime TV partner.

“When I heard that Pat was retiring, I thought maybe I should retire, too. But I’m not ready!” she said. “I feel happy for him. I can’t imagine doing the show without him after 41 years. I sum it up as [like] reading a good book. It always has to end. This has been the best book I’ve ever read.”

Season 42 of “Wheel of Fortune” premieres in September.
