Two years down and forever to go for Rams coach Sean McVay and his wife, Veronika Khomyn.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Khomyn reflected on the couple’s second wedding anniversary in a series of photos taken from their big day in 2022.
“2 years, double the fun,” Khomyn captioned one snap of the pair as they shared an intimate moment.
Other photos featured Khomyn and McVay, 38, hitting the dance floor at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where the Super Bowl-winning head coach also feasted on a cake inspired by the Lombardi Trophy he hoisted four months before the nuptials.
McVay led the Rams to a Super Bowl title in February 2022, roughly a year after acquiring quarterback Matthew Stafford in a trade with the Lions, who received Jared Goff in return.
Stafford and his wife, Kelly, attended McVay’s wedding, along with Odell Beckham Jr. and Aaron Donald, who retired in March after 10 seasons with the Rams.
McVay proposed to Khomyn in 2019.
Much has changed since they said “I do,” with Khomyn giving birth to the couple’s first child, son Jordan John, in October 2023.
“Just amazing how well my wife handled it and what a stud she was through that whole process, and even yesterday,” McVay said at the time, according to The Athletic.”The people were amazing in terms of the nurses and doctors, and their help. He’s here, he’s healthy, he’s feeling good. And what a blessing it is.”
McVay honored his late grandfather, former NFL exec John McVay, with his son’s middle name.
“I come from a family of faith, I’m a man of faith. The influence that you know my grandfather had on me — but also our family, he had a special relationship with Veronika as well — and so I thought that was only appropriate to be able to have his middle name after my grandfather,” McVay said.
McVay is entering his eighth season as the Rams’ head coach.
He led the team to a 10-7 record in 2023 and reached the wild-card round of the playoffs.
