Suspect in high-speed police chase flung 20 feet in the air after crashing into snowbank – baby found in backseat: video

Shocking dashcam footage caught a driver being flung high in the air while crashing during a high-speed police chase in Ohio — and a baby was found unharmed in the back of the car that flipped several times.

The footage shows a beige Chrysler PT cruiser being sped away from cops in North Olmsted in suburban Cleveland on Sunday, with the driver later found to be armed and on a suspended license, according to WKYC.

After swerving through traffic, the vehicle spins out of control — flipping sideways several times after hitting a snowbank.

The driver is seen being flung high above the vehicle, seemingly at least 20 feet in the air.

The suspect — identified by cops as Antonine Lindsey, 30 — then tries getting to his feet as the pursuing officer approaches with his gun drawn, shouting: “Get on the ground!”

The suspect tells the cop there is a 1-year-old child in the smoking, wrecked vehicle, with a baby’s cries heard in the footage.

The officer finds the child, still safely in a car seat in the back.

The baby was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, but was miraculously unharmed, authorities said.

Lindsey was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Morning Journal. The reports did not detail his relationship to the child.

The chase started just because the officer tried to pull over Lindsey for license plate and brake light violations, KLTV said.

He was later found to have a suspended license and was illegally in possession of a firearm, according to WKYC.

He has since been charged with failure to comply with a police signal, having weapons under disability and endangering children, the outlet reports.

It is unclear whether Lindsey has retained an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
