Jimmy Butler rocks purple cowboy outfit, emo haircut in Fall Out Boy video

Emo Jimmy Butler is back with a bit of a country twist.

The Heat star brought returned the hilarious look for Fall Out Boy’s new music video for “So Much (For) Stardust,” which was released on Wednesday.

Butler, 34, originally sported the hair during the Heat’s media day before the start of the season in October, and he once again rocked the style for the music video, which features quite a bit of Butler.

Wearing a bedazzled, all-purple cowboy getup throughout, Butler even held a personalized guitar during the video.

Much of the first two minutes of the nearly four-minute video is focused on the five-time All-NBA team member, who was suspended for one game on Sunday for his role in an on-court brawl in a game against the Pelicans on Friday.

After Butler shakes a magic 8 ball, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz appears in a beige outfit and stays in the rest of the video.

The country outfit or return of this version of Butler shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans of the six-time All-Star, who certainly loves to have some fun.

Butler told Rolling Stone in October about his affinity for country music and his plans to eventually release a country album.

His emo look at media day drew plenty of attention and laughter when he first broke it out in front of reporters.

“I’m very emotional right now. This is my emo state and I like this. This is me,” Butler said at the time. “This is how I’m feeling as of late.”

The look was short-lived, as Butler returned to his normal hair days later after sharing a photo of himself on Instagram spending time with his family on the beach.

The Heat are 33-25 and sit in fifth place in the Eastern Conference entering Wednesday’s action.

Butler has appeared in 39 games this season, averaging 21.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists while shooting 50.4 percent from the field.
