Dodgers stay busy with Manuel Margot trade, Kiké Hernandez signing

The Dodgers aren’t done reshaping their roster after a blockbuster offseason.

Los Angeles is trading outfielder Manuel Margot to the Twins and filling that roster spot by re-signing Kiké Hernandez, The Post’s Jon Heyman confirmed.

Minnesota is also receiving shortstop prospect Rayne Doncon while sending shortstop prospect Noah Miller to the Dodgers, according to ESPN.

The Dodgers initially acquired Margot in December from the Rays as part of the Tyler Glasnow trade.

The 29-year-old slashed .264/.310/.376 with four home runs and 38 RBIs in 336 plate appearances for Tampa Bay last season, his fourth with the Rays after spending four seasons with the Padres.

The utilityman Hernandez, 32, was a Dodger from 2015-20 before signing with the Red Sox, who dealt him back to the Dodgers before last season’s trade deadline.

He slashed .237/.289/.357 with 11 home runs and 61 RBIs last season.

The Dodgers continue to tinker with their roster after signing two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani to a record 10-year, $700 million contract, with a whopping $680 million of that getting deferred to help ease the team’s tax burden; he won’t pitch this season after undergoing elbow surgery.

They also signed much-ballyhooed Japanese right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto to a 12-year, $325 million contract, beating out the Yankees and Mets in the race for his services.

Outfielder Teoscar Hernandez signed with the Dodgers on a one-year, $23.5 million contract, they brought back outfielder Jason Heyward on a one-year, $9 million deal, and signed left-hander James Paxton to a one-year deal with $7 million guaranteed.
